USPK’s affiliation offers gyms with existing internal parkour coach training programs or external certifications the opportunity to gain official recognition, streamline insurance qualifications, and enhance credibility by aligning with the national governing body for parkour in the U.S.
With USPK’s Certification Approval Service, your gym’s internal coaching training or certification process can become an officially recognized USPK-affiliated Parkour Coaching Certification.

How the Review Process Works
We ensure your internal certification program is thorough and high quality while keeping the process as straightforward as possible:
- Submit Your Materials – Share all the learning and presentation materials your program uses for learners and facilitators.
- Committee Review – Our expert committee will review the materials, taking time to understand your program and identify any questions.
- Facilitator Interview – A facilitator or tutor from your organization will meet with the committee to answer questions, clarify details, and discuss any suggested updates.
- Enhancements Period – You’ll have 3 months to address the committee’s recommendations, making updates or adjustments needed to meet approval standards.
- Final Review – The committee will review your revised materials to ensure all criteria are met.
- Optional Internal Audit – If necessary, we may conduct an internal audit, including interviewing a participant from your program to confirm key elements of its delivery.
- Renewal Process – USPK-Affiliated parkour coaching certifications must be renewed every 3 years, from time of approval.
Timeline for Approval Process
The timeline takes a total of six months. After the committee’s initial review, you’ll have 3 months to submit changes. Once changes are submitted, the committee will have an additional 3 months to finalize the review.
If approval isn’t granted within this timeline, the applicant must resubmit the program and repay the associated fees.
Pricing
Application Fee: $1,200 one-time fee
By the end of the process, you’ll have a USPK-approved certification program that your gym can proudly stand behind!
